If you’ve worked with Pally in the past, you might be wondering what happened to the Pally Pallet Builder, the simple online tool that many of our early customers used to create pallet patterns.
The short answer is: we closed it down.
The longer answer is: a better and much improved version is available for you to use!
Why We Retired the Old Pally Pallet Builder
The original Pallet Builder was introduced as a simple online tool for generating basic palletizing patterns. For a time, it met the needs of many users, providing a quick way to build and test layouts without installing additional software.
However, as both palletizing needs and technology evolved, it became clear that the old tool could no longer keep up. It lacked flexibility, offered limited functionality, and didn’t integrate well into modern deployment workflows.
Rather than maintaining a tool that no longer reflects the quality or performance of our current offering, we made the decision to evolve the Pallet Builder into its real potential. With that, MyRobot.cloud was born.
Why MyRobot.cloud Is the Way Forward
Put shortly, MyRobot.cloud is a significant step forward. Where the Pallet Builder offered basic configuration, MyRobot.cloud provides a complete environment for designing, simulating, validating, and optimizing palletizing patterns.
It’s built to support resellers, integrators, and manufacturers who need reliability, flexibility, and faster project execution.
With MyRobot.cloud, you can:
- Build and edit complex palletizing patterns with far more control and precision
- Run cloud-based simulations to validate configurations before installation
- Streamline commissioning with a faster, more professional workflow
- Collaborate with team members across locations
All of this is available from a modern, cloud-based interface that continues to evolve as new features and customer needs emerge.

Exciting Things to Come
But that is not all. Starting at the end of May 2025, you will also be able to use an offline Pallet Builder directly on your teach pendant! And no, you don’t have to rely on an internet connection or additional hardware.
Thanks to the new architecture in Polyscope X, we’re introducing an offline Pallet Builder directly within the Pally URCap X.
Our offline pallet builder is intended for straightforward use cases where the auto-generated pattern provides sufficient flexibility, because for many projects, this is more than enough. For more advanced scenarios, you will still be able to work within MyRobot.cloud.

We know the original Pallet Builder served many users well, and we’re proud of what it helped make possible. But as the industry grows more complex and demands more flexibility, the tools must grow too.
MyRobot.cloud represents that evolution, and with it, we are delivering a platform that’s better equipped to serve the needs of modern automation.
